Such an attitude by the eternally-rotten authorities in the Middle East started in early historic times. But I cannot blame the Ancient Egyptians or Early Persian dynasties for behaving like that. That was the norm then.
But I cannot forgive those who took an egalitarian religion and scripture (I mean Islam and the Quran) and turned it into system of governance that promotes oligarchy, dictatorships, religious and political ethnic dynasties and stripped it of its original spirit as practices by the Prophet and the early civic leaders that followed him.
I also cannot forgive those in modern times that still want us - Arabs and Muslims - to accept systems of governance that is more befitting animals than humans.
